I’m Shane Grainger, a Toronto-based Multimedia Specialist with over 8 years of experience helping start-ups, agencies, and Fortune 500 clients transform brand goals into polished, intuitive, and high-performing digital experiences.

I hold a BSc in Computer Science and advanced training in UX and multimedia design. My experience includes graphic design, web development, motion design, and UX design, which allows me to approach challenges from multiple angles and craft work that is both visually engaging and strategically effective. I am skilled at seeing both the big picture and the fine details in complex, interconnected systems. Driven by curiosity and a need for mastery, I thrive on understanding and solving multifaceted problems.

I excel in roles requiring holistic problem-solving and communicate clearly so my insights are more impactful. As a navigator of complexity, I create solutions with lasting value for organizations and society.

I’m especially interested in the role of generative AI and prompt engineering in shaping the future of design, unlocking new ways to explore ideas and push creative boundaries.

Outside of design, I draw inspiration from travel, food, and music, always staying curious about the world around me.
